We work with you from the very first sketch through to the finished piece. No two commissions are alike. Whether you come with a clear vision or just a feeling, we will help you find the form it should take.

Engagement rings, wedding bands, anniversary pieces, cultural and ceremonial commissions — all undertaken with the same care. Allow 6–8 weeks from consultation to completion.

The finest jewellery begins with the finest stone. We source loose diamonds, jade, and coloured gemstones directly — each selected by hand for colour, clarity, and character. Every stone comes with certification.

Purchase a stone alone as an investment, or combine it with our Atelier service to have it set into a bespoke piece. We carry both investment-grade stones and exceptional individual pieces that suit a specific vision.

All stones are priced transparently at market rates. We do not mark up beyond what is fair and reasonable for sourcing and certification.

CHAU began long before it had a name. It began in Vietnam, in the hands of a family that understood jewellery not as decoration, but as something far more enduring — a vessel for memory, a measure of worth, a thing you pass down.

Our grandmother, Minh Chau, carried that understanding across an ocean when she immigrated to Canada and built her jewellery store from nothing — a business that became a trusted name in the Vietnamese and Asian community for over thirty years. Her daughter, Ngoc Thi, inherited that same instinct for quality and beauty, and quietly became the beating heart of what the family had built.

The path here was not straight. Like many children of immigrants, I found myself moving through the world differently — a career in healthcare, years of learning what it means to care for people with intention and precision. But some things have a way of finding you. Jewellery was always home.

CHAU is that homecoming. A private collection built on everything my mother and grandmother taught me — about craft, about community, about choosing pieces that mean something. Every piece we carry is intentional. Nothing is here by accident.
